Oriental magpie-robin (Copsychus saularis)

The Oriental magpie-robin is a small passerine bird that was formerly classed as a member of the thrush family Turdidae, but now considered an Old World flycatcher. 

The Oriental Magpie-Robin (Copsychus saularis) is a beautiful and familiar songbird found across South and Southeast Asia. It is easily recognized by its attractive black-and-white plumage and long tail.

This active bird is commonly seen in gardens, forests, villages, parks, and urban areas. It mainly feeds on insects, small worms, and other invertebrates, often searching for food on the ground.

The Oriental Magpie-Robin is especially famous for its melodious song. Male birds often sing from trees or other high perches, particularly during the breeding season.
